We’ve mentioned this tab punch in a couple different posts. But haven’t talk a ton about why we love it or how to use it.
What’s the deal with tabs?
One of the things I put on most of my pages is a tab of some sort. It marks the page that I’ve been working on and gives me a quick reference to what the page is about. That makes it easier to find a certain page that I might be looking for when flipping through my bible.
There are all sorts of tab shapes that you can use to mark your pages. This tab punch makes it super easy and quick to mark your page. You simply slip the paper you want to make your tab out of into the slot and press! Many of the sticker sheets in our shop come with tabs to cut out using this punch.
But the sky is really the limit when it comes to this punch! You can use any paper to make a tab. Easily add a fun pattern to your page by using scrapbook papers or even use your scrap paint paper. Pretty much anything with a cute pattern becomes fair game for this punch!
Below you can see all the cute tabs I made from my scrap sheet that I use to test my watercolors. A paper that would normally get thrown in the trash is now usable!
While I love using the tab punch, you can make tabs without it. Here are some examples of other shapes I used as page markers.
No matter what kind of page marker you use, make it yours! Add alpha stickers, washi tape, fun paper clips, ribbons, etc. Just have fun with it. Make it speak your style.
