Happy weekend y’all!
I’m excited to finally share a flip through of my third journaling bible with you! This was my first soft cover bible. I found that I really liked it because it felt like I could add so much to it and it was more forgiving once it got larger. I will say that I didn’t fill this bible as much as it could have been filled. There is still plenty of room for more creating.
But I learned something about myself this last year. I really like to start a fresh bible at the start of each year. I haven’t been able to really pinpoint why I feel this way, but it feels right. This bible contains a little over a year of creating. It didn’t make much sense to start in October 2017 and then get a new one for 2018 .
This bible could have been a lot more stuffed, but I found my self a little distracted over the course of the last year. I was pregnant and then had a newborn. That made it a little harder to get in my bible. (Not to mention a 2 year old who always wanted to ‘help.’)
I’m trying not to beat myself up for not doing as much as I wanted last year, but my need for perfectionism is strong! We all go through lulls and it’s okay. I’m trying to change my mindset this year and not be so hard on myself.
I will remember the many good times spent in the pages of this bible and I will cherish them forever. I am happy to have another bible to add to my journaling journey. And another example of how important my faith is to me.
