Hi Friends! I hope you have all had an enjoyable week! This week we released our Heiress of Faith line of printable downloads, which I’ve been super excited about. This is something we will continue to add to as we go, but today I wanted to share about these girls and the inspiration behind them.
If you haven’t noticed the theme of inheritance is a huge focus for us. Faith Heirlooms is what we call ourselves because we believe that our journaling Bibles are heirlooms of faith that we will get to pass down for generations. We believe in the importance of sharing our faith with coming generations and teaching the value and truth of scripture to others. What God says in His word is true and right. Since we believe this is true, we believe we must invest time into understanding and meditating on this truth.
The theme of inheritance is one found throughout Scripture. In Romans 8:17 Paul tells us that we are co-heirs with Christ by our faith in Him!
” Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” (Romans 8:17)
What a beautiful promise. This means we are princesses, and you know what princesses wear, right? Crowns.
In life it can be hard to remember that our inheritance doesn’t come in this lifetime. Our crowns are coming, yes, remember that. But, we must endure trials, tribulations, sorrows, and more until the day we will receive our crowns. We must carry great responsibility and live to the best of our ability. We have the hope of the crown of eternal life. A crown that will not fade, wilt, tarnish or break apart. This hope is what carries us through the challenges we face.
Cling to that hope, Heiress of Faith. Press on. Live your best for the Lord. You may not have the strength to keep your head held high, but through Him all things are possible. He will sustain you and provide for you. Remember, you are an Heiress of Faith, a daughter of the King, with a royal crown awaiting you in heaven.
