The Christmas season is here! It’s my favorite time of the year! I love all the lights and decorations and spending time with family.
I especially love seeing it through the eyes of my littles. Its a special time to spend together making family traditions and teaching them about Jesus.
While I think it’s important to teach my kiddos about Jesus and the spirit of giving, I also think it’s okay to have things you want for yourself. There’s nothing wrong with wanting things as long as that’s not your focus.
So I wanted to share my bible journaling Christmas gift guide with you. And maybe you know someone who might like these things too!

2018 Bible Journaling Gift Guide
1. New Bible
I’m getting close to the end of my current bible and there are two that I’m looking at. I can’t decide which one I want.
I’ve been wanting the leather bound bible with the flap for some time now. But the illustrating bible is so enticing with all the space! But Then I worry about the space anxiety I got when I tried the interleaved version. I would hate to spend so much on something that I’m afraid to use. Eek! The Illustrating Bible is unfortunately out of stock everywhere, but it’s still on my wish list.
2. Watercolors
I love watercolors! They are one of my favorite ways to add color to a page. I really like the Prima Marketing Color Confections. I have two of these sets already but I need more! These are pretty reasonably priced and great quality! I don’t think you could ever have too many of these. Here are the sets I’m looking at.
3. Alpha Stamps
Alphabet stamps should be in every bible journalers supply kit! The best thing about them is that they are reusable! They last forever so they’re super cost effective. I love to use them when I don’t feel like handwriting or when I’ve run out of alpha stickers. These are some fun ones on my list this year.
4. Gelatos
I’ve been curious to try gelatos for some time. I have seen tons of people use them in their bibles, and Leah has used them in her’s as well. I’m super late to the party, but better late than never I guess!
5. Paint Brushes
I’m in need of some new paint brushes. My little almost 3 year old art lover has pilfered a lot of my paint brushes and been not so kind to them. These ones aren’t too expensive and seem to have good reviews.
6. Washi Tape
You can never have too much washi tape, amiright?! I love these ones with faith based sayings and cute patterns.
7. Devotional
I don’t know about you, but I sure could use some quiet moments with Jesus. Devotions are a great inspiration for bible journaling. This one looks really good and has great reviews!
And finally..
8. Prayer Journal
One thing I’m constantly trying to improve on is my prayer life. I struggle with it if I’m honest. This journal seems like the perfect tool to help. It gives you four prompts everyday and space to write your thoughts.
These are the bible journaling items on my Christmas list this year. If I’m lucky maybe I’ll get a few of them!
Know any bible journlers? Maybe they would like some of these items too! Are you a bible journaler? Share this gift guide with your loved ones so they know what to get you!
